LLDP tab

Select the
LLDP
tab to view and edit the Link Layer Discovery Protocol (LLDP) settings and access information from connected devices. LLDP is a low level Ethernet protocol used to identify external devices connected to each device’s network interface connection. The Open Vendors Device Association (ODVA) incorporated LLDP into the Common Industrial Protocol (CIP) and expanded it to include CIP device identity information to enhance the ability to identify CIP devices connected in an automation system. This tab is only available for devices that support LLDP detection.
