Tag Editor and Data Monitor

The Tag Editor is used for creating new tags, deleting existing tags, and modifying existing tag properties such as the data type, alias, and display style. It includes a command bar to select the scope of the tags you want to view and work on, show specific data types and tags, and filter tags or parameters based on tag name, tag description, or both.

The Data Monitor is used for monitoring tags in your project. Like the Tag Editor, the Data Monitor lists all the tags in a selected scope. When in the Data Monitor, the actual values for the tags that are shown and new values can be entered. Only a few tag settings can be modified in the Data Monitor.
