Tag Name Collision Dialog - Data Compare Tab Overview

Use the collision dialog box to compare data differences (data and force data) between two colliding tags.
The Data Compare tab is only available for tags. The tab only displays offline values, even when the controller is online.
When colliding tags are structurally identical (all of the data type members are the same and appear in the same order, then the tag is structurally identical even though the data type is different), the Data Compare tab shows both the imported and existing data. The values displayed on this tab reflect the values of the offline project, regardless of the online state of the controller. If you choose to overwrite the tag, the values in the Import Value column are written to the offline project. If the tag has forces, those forces are imported and written to the offline project as well.
A force mask column is displayed for each tag that is capable of being forced. When two tags are displayed in the same view and only one of the tags is forcible, a force mask column displays for each tag; the force mask column for the tag that is not forcible is empty.
The rows are highlighted in yellow when the Import Value column is different from the Existing Value column or when the Import Force Mask column is different from the Existing Force Mask column. When the columns are different, the text in those fields is bold.
