Import Tags Dialog Box Overview
Use the Import Tags dialog box to import tags from a CSV file into the open project.
Parameters
Look in:
Select the directory in which the CSV file resides.
Up One Level
Click this button to go up one level in the directory.
Create New Folder
Click this button to create a new folder in the current directory.
List
Click this button to display a list of files in this directory.
Details
Click this button to display a list of files in this directory with all of the associated file details (for example, file size, date).
File name:
Enter the name of the CSV file you wish to import.
Tag Collisions
Choose from:
- Create new tags and overwrite existing tags
- Create new tags but discard imported tags
- Only overwrite existing tags (skip new tags)
These options determine what happens when the name of an imported tag matches the name of a tag in the project database.
Logic Comment Collisions
Choose from:
- Import new comments and overwrite existing comments
- Import new comments, but discard imported comments
- Only overwrite existing comments (skip new comments)
These options determine what happens when the name of an imported logic comment matches the name of a comment in the project database.
Match all RLL rung comments by rung number only
Check this box if you want the import operation to match all rungs by rung number only, ignoring any last instruction that may be listed for that rung.
All options except for the "Match all RLL rung comments..." option ignore the rung with which the owning element is associated. If you delete a rung and the previous or next rung has an identical owning element, it will be overwritten or written to by the comment for the missing rung.
Import
Click this button to import the specified file.
Cancel
Click this button to cancel the import and close the Import Tags dialog box.
Help
Click this button for help on the Import Tags dialog box.
