Failed to paste

One of these issues caused the paste operation to fail:
  • The component exceeds the maximum allowed components and the paste cannot be completed. For example, the program exceeds the limit of 1000 child programs at the target item, or exceeds the limit of 1000 programs scheduled under a task.
  • Another user is making a change to the controller.
    The
    Prohibit online edits during upload
     check box might be selected, which prevents changes to the program when another user is uploading to the controller. This check box appears:
    • On the
      Workstation Options
       dialog, in the
      Application
       category.
    • On the
      Connected To Upload
       dialog when you select
      Communications > Upload
       on the main menu or when you select
      Upload
       on the
      Who Active
       dialog.
