Export Tags dialog box

Use the Export Tags dialog box to export the tag collection that is currently selected in the
Controller Organizer
. If you do not select a tag collection, all tags in the project are exported.
TIP: To open the Export Tags dialog:
  • In the
    Controller Organizer
     or the
    Logical Organizer
    , right-click the
    Parameters and Local Tags
     folder for a task or routine and select
    Export Tags
    .
This table describes the settings on the dialog box.
Parameter
Description
Save in
The directory where the exported tags are saved.
Up One Level
Moves up one level in the directory hierarchy.
Create New Folder
Creates a new folder in the current directory.
View
Determines the display style for files in the directory.
Details
Displays a list of files in this directory with all associated file details, such as file size and date.
File name
The name of the file for export.
To clearly identify a tag is being exported,
_Tags
 is appended to the file name.
Save as type
Displays the type of file that is to be exported.
Tags
The tag collections to export. The following options are available:
  • None.
  • All – Export all tag collections.
  • Controller & All Programs/Phases – Export the controller tag collection, plus the tags for all programs and phases.
  • Controller – Export just the controller tag collection.
  • Programs – Export the tag collection for a selected program.
  • Equipment Phases – Export the tag collection for a selected
    Equipment Phase
    .
  • Equipment Sequences – Export the tag collection for a selected
    Equipment Sequence
    .
  • Add-On Instructions – Export the tag collection for a selected Add-On Instruction.
Logic Comments
The logic comments to export. The following options are available:
  • None.
  • All – Export all logic comments.
  • Controller & All Programs/Phases – Export the controller logic comments, plus the comments for all programs and phases.
  • Controller – Export just the controller logic comments.
  • Programs – Export the logic comments for a selected program.
  • Equipment Phases – Export the logic comments for a selected
    Equipment Phase
    .
  • Equipment Sequences – Export the logic comments for a selected
    Equipment Sequence
    .
  • Add-On Instructions – Export the logic comments for a selected Add-On Instruction.
Export
Exports the selected file.
