Changing FBD or SFC Editor Font and Color Preferences

The
Workstation Options
 and
Print Options
 dialog boxes let you set your font and color preferences for the
Logix Designer
 application. The
Workstation Options
 dialog box lets you set your preferences for display on the screen, while the
Print Options
 dialog box lets you set your preferences for printing. These two can be configured differently, even though the options for the Font/Color categories appear the same on each dialog box.
TIP:
To open the Workstation Options dialog:
  • Select
    Tools > Options
    .
To open the Print Options dialog:
  • Select
    File > Print Options
    .
The FBD or SFC Editor/Listing Font/Color categories lets you configure font and color for items displayed in the FBD or SFC Editor or on FBD or SFC reports.
Note that the name of the category you see in the options dialog box vary, depending on whether you are setting your workstation display or your print options. For
Workstation Options
, all categories refer to the FBD or SFC
Editor
; for
Print Options
, they refer to the FBD or SFC
Listing
.
To change FBD Editor or SFC Editor font and color preferences:
  1. Open either the
    Workstation Options
     or
    Print Options
     dialog box.
  2. Configure the following parameters:
    • Items
      The
      Items
       list includes all of the items you can configure for the specific category; configure each item one at a time
    • Color
      Note that the
      Sample
       area displays an example of what the selected item looks like with the attributes you have configured.
  3. Click
    OK
    to accept your changes and close the
    Workstation Options
     or
    Print Options
     dialog box.
