Failed to modify the System Protocol properties

There was a problem applying your changes on the System Protocol tab of the Controller Properties dialog box. The error message you receive indicates one of the following conditions:

Station Address is invalid

You entered a Station Address value that is outside the valid range. Reenter the Station Address.

NAK Receive Limit is invalid

You entered a NAK Receive Limit value that is outside the valid range. Reenter the NAK Receive Limit.

ENQ Receive Limit is invalid

You entered an ENQ Receive Limit value that is outside the valid range. Reenter the ENQ Receive Limit.

ACK Timeout is invalid

You entered an ACK Timeout value that is outside the valid range. Reenter the ACK Timeout.

Transmit Retries is invalid

You entered a Transmit Retries value that is outside the valid range. Reenter the Transmit Retries.

Slave Poll Timeout is invalid

You entered a Slave Poll Timeout value that is outside the valid range. Reenter the Slave Poll Timeout.

Reply Message Wait is invalid

You entered a Reply Message Wait value that is outside the valid range. Reenter the Reply Message Wait.

Poll Group Size is invalid

You entered a Poll Group Size value that is outside the valid range. Reenter the Poll Group Size.

Normal or Priority Tag not supplied

You did not enter a tag for the Normal or Priority Tag. Enter a tag name.

The tag specified for the Normal Poll Node does not exist

You entered a tag for the Normal Poll Node that does not exist. Create the tag via the Tag Editor or choose a tag that already exists.

The tag specified for the Priority Poll Node does not exist

You entered a tag for the Priority Poll Node that does not exist. Create the tag via the Tag Editor or choose a tag that already exists.

Active Station Tag not supplied

You did not enter a tag for the Active Station Tag. Enter a tag name.

The tag specified for the Active Station Node does not exist.

You entered a tag for the Active Station Node that does not exist. Create the tag via the Tag Editor or choose a tag that already exists.

One or more tags specified for the Active Station, Priority, or Normal Poll Nodes is already in use.

You entered the same tag for either the Active Station, Priority Poll, or Normal Poll Nodes. Enter unique tag names for each Poll Node.

One of the tags entered has an incorrect data type

You entered a tag for either the Active Station, Priority Poll, or Normal Poll mode that has the incorrect data type. Reenter a tag name with the correct data type or edit the current tag’s data type via the Tag Editor.
